About Sarah
Hello, I am Sarah Brittany and I was born and raised on Turtle Island, aka Canada. My ancestral roots are from Ireland, Scotland and England. I am a creative writer and poet who has always been incredibly passionate about the healing power of this mythic medicine, ever since I first fell in love with it at the age of nine. I am an Ancestral Healing and Sacred Feminine Guide as well as a Tarot and Ogham Divination Practitioner, dedicated to being of service to those seeking spiritual support. I love to facilitate rituals and women’s circles around the Celtic Wheel of the Year, and also write regularly about all of these subjects on my Heart Lore Healing Substack publication. I am certified as a yoga and meditation teacher and in various forms of energy work including reiki. I also hold a certificate in healing ancestral trauma. I have immersed in studies for significant stretches of time in a variety of temples and mystery schools as well. The focus of my studies has evolved over the years through bhakti yoga, tantra, wicca, goddess spirituality, druidry and paganism.
I can say without a doubt, my greatest teacher has always been the land.
Collecting stories and wisdom through lived experience along my own healing journey has shaped my work in a big way. I am devoted to making art out of chaos, and I am devoted to the soul calling that is pilgrimage. I have lived for extended periods of time and travelled extensively in 10 countries over North America, South America and Europe. In the past, a lot of the travel I did was very rugged, at times living out of a tent for months on end and finding unconventional ways to explore. It has all been driven by both an insatiable curiosity, as well as deep calling towards self-development from an early age when I struggled chronically with anxiety and depression.

“Ancestral healing is the path back to the common ground that is the mythic landscape.”

Most recently I spent two years living in Ireland in an effort to embark on an immersive, ancestral healing journey. During this time, I travelled to and sat in ceremony at countless sacred sites, volunteered with the Gaelic Woodland Project and was a contributing author in the widely-celebrated Rebel Ma – Healing in the Time of the Feminine: Women’s Stories of Liberation. Much of my work is inspired and informed by the ancient, nature-reverent, folk traditions of my ancestors.
My spiritual exploration spans over the course of a decade of formal and informal studies, and my wealth of unique lived experience spills into all of my work.
I am committed to the process of exploring the mysteries of life while bridging the gaps that separate us, and dissolving the dogmas that dominate us, in order to further celebrate our common ground and step into personal sovereignty.
Through my work, I aim to empower our intimate relationship with word-weaving, ritual and roots. My intention is to support the collective attunement to creative vision, what stirs us awake in the unseen, and to flow more harmoniously with the cyclical dance of self and seasons. I am here to serve my clients and community, as we remember and reconnect with our ancestral wisdom, and empower our innately earthy, oracular feminine knowing.
My personal goal is to move towards an evermore compassionate and heart-centered presence, in gratitude, and as an ally of nature and its many diverse inhabitants.
I am deeply grateful to be currently residing on (what is now known as Victoria, BC) on Turtle Island, on the unceded territory of the Lekwungen people, the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations.
